TX Caravan to Camaro5Fest

I can't wait. It is going to be an awsome adventure with all of these Camaros rolling down I-20 together in a group. On the way to the MTI Funfest in Alabama I drove with Camaro21 from Dallas to Alabama and it was fun.

Dunno bout you, but this is what I'm doing

OK here's what it looks like. If anyone has any suggestions as well, lets hear em! I am putting this out there for us. If no one says anything then well, I'll just assume everyone loves it!)

North Texas C5F Caravan.

(Note : All Times listed are approximated, if I need to adjust the travel times let me know)

Starting Rally point April 15th, 7am - Pennington Field, I will be here to give a land mark at that time. Very large parking lot so there is plenty of room. (Showing up at a few till 8am is fine, so long as we are ready to hit the road)

Get some Breakfast and get ready.

8am - Leave Pennington Field parking lot and head for I20 to Shreveport.

10:30am - Arrive in Shreveport. Check for leg stretch/refreshment/gas stop. Continue to I49 south to Alexandria.

12:30pm - Arrive in Alexandria. Time for a bite to eat! Stretch those legs and take a break. If anyone wants to suggest a good lunch locale where all ears! Depending, get on road again by 2pm.

4pm - Arrive in Lafayette for rendezvous with South Texas C5F Caravan as well as more from the Lafayette area. I10 will now be alive with the sound of a CRAPLOAD of Horsepower! The combined Texas / S.Louisiana C5F Caravan continues on to Biloxi. Expected ETA - Biloxi Grand 7pm.

We have some time left to finish the details and I'll be all over it shortly!

How many are joining us from Lafayette area? The more I read about this and see this the more I get excited about it! Also, has anyone officaly taken on making a cell phone/ liscence plate/ name list?? Just woundering???

Firefighter1,

I am the Houston contact and yes we have discussed sharing cell phone numbers, etc. with the other caravan leaders. This will be done a little later via PM or email as the attendee list solidifies. From Houston, the South Texas C5F caravan will pick-up a few Camaros joining us in Beaumont and continue on to Lafayette where we will meet up with the North Texas C5F Caravan and South Louisiana bunch.

The Lafayette location will be rocking with Camaros on the afternoon of April 15th. Perhaps Black10 can contact the local media and we can get some press out of our stop. Then we can record the video of this historic 1st gathering and retain for the future.

I for one would like to use a clip like this at future car shows and events promoting the HTCC and the spectacular CAMARO !!!
