Did anyone regret upgrading their SS instead of buying a ZL1?
I have a lot of mods on my 2010 SS so I don't want to sell it but I have been looking hard at the ZL1's. If you upgraded your performance on your SS do you regret that you didn't just buy a ZL1 instead? I'm really having a hard time making the decision to buy a supercharger and new cam for my SS or trading in my SS for a ZL1.
Opinions please. Russ |

I built my SS just as I wanted it not like GM wanted it.

Nope, no regrets. I made this car mine and love the ride. I'd love to own a ZL1... but in no way is it a must have, and I am thoroughly satisfied with this SS.

ZL1 is sweet but the SS is no joke with mods. Drop in the SC and cam! It's about what you make of a car not what you bought from the factory. Sounds like you and the SS are 1 now , so keep it and keep on modding brother.

Nope. Bought the SS, had it for a year then wanted more power so I supercharged it. I'm not kindling myself, a ZL1 with the mag ride and the rest of the goodies would be awesome. But no complaints here.

I wish I had a ZL1 buts it was way out of the budget. Everybody here is acting like they could afford it but just chose the SS

I bought mine before the ZL1 came out, so it wasn't even an option for me. I've got enough money in my SS to afford a brand new Vett. I actually chose the SS, it reminds me of my 69

I am a little surprised by the answers, I thought getting the ZL1 would be the majority of opinion. I know I won't get my money back for all of the mods I have on my SS & to put them all onto a ZL1 I will be paying for all the mods again. I probably have close to $5K of mods. |

Was someone else going to pony up the extra 15k for me so I could get a ZL1?
