As usual my symptoms are morphing. Throat is not as sore but now I am getting a runny nose, deep wheezing cough & losing my voice. Not sure about work tomorrow. We will see in the morning. I made myself a big pot of chicken with rice soup & have been eating on it all day which helped but I guess it just has to run it's course. I am taking myself a big dose of Nyquil & turning in early.

It's good that one of your teams is doing well. The Vikes have had some "not-so-stellar" seasons, but nothing like this for as long as I can remember.

What Makes it even worse IS a NEW staduim is being built for this team. Kind of like Buying a NEW saddle for a dead Horse :( And we the People of Minnesota get to foot a big part of the Bill.

I feel the same WTF pain when it comes to football. Titans and Vols are both in the same boat. I am still miserable. This morming my cough is deep in my chest. I jusd don't know what to do about work. I know I really should stay in bed but it is so hard to make up for 2 days of lost productivity and I really need my bonus. I'll see how I feel after my shower. HAGD all.

The Lord blessed me with my third healthy grand kid yesterday. One girl and now two boys. Can't wait until they are old enough to appreciate the launch and scream threw the gears the ZL1 gives you. The look on their faces is going to be fun !!

I decided to go on to work. I'm glad I did. So far it has not been too bad. I am coughing some, but not a lot, but it is deep in my chest when I do and my voice is weak. Definately not bad enough for it to have been worth missing another day. I brought some of my home made soup with me & am having it for lunch. Hopefully I am on the way to recovering from whatever this was.

Be glad you're not a Jaguars fan. We've been rebuilding for 10 years, 3 coaches, 2 owners and 3 GM's. End result is we still stink. And, we're spending 100M this coming offseason to redo the stadium for the 3rd time in 18 years. Taxpayer's get the bill while our new owner gets all the profit to spend on his new soccer team. Add to that the very real possibility that they will be the London Jaguars before too many more years go by.

Being a fan means sticking with your team through good and bad, but it's about time we had some good. All that said, I'll still be at the stadium on game day yelling my fool head off with the other fans who show up no matter what thinking we can win THIS one.
