where to buy a new transmission?
Hello everyone I need help with what is the best way to go with a new transmission because mines is slipping. My car is a daily driver for 8 years now and I have a stage 1 cam , ported heads and regular bolt ons

where in MD bro? options are to have it professionally rebuilt using better internal components or find one already in that condition. I think rhino79 had one fer sale..well built. Factory new is $$$ and you will still have the same probs down the road.
have/did you add an aux trans fluid cooler? good insurance....good luck! BTW - or convert to a T-400!

Savage. Ok yeah I might get it built plus I want to keep it auto. You know I was never sure did our cars come with a separate trans cooler. I know for sure its hooked up to the radiator. 136k miles on the car and drove it like I stole it everyday lol

you'll be completely fine with a stock 6l80. no need to get a built one for cam only. just throw a converter and auxiliary cooler in it while you've got it out and you're golden for another 100k +

that's like saying why stop there... 4l80 swap it( which I have done and broke...). stock 6l80s will hold 650whp all day long. Proven.
