Key Fob again. Soory

I know this issue has been beat to death. But I did what I consider a careful reading of the various threads and didn’t find an answer solution.
First, original switchblade fob for my 2011SS fell apart years ago. Bought a replacement on Amazon, programmed it, no Problem.Time passes. To get GM to quit sending recall notices, I took my 2nd fob in and had it deswitchbladed. Wife has been using that one. Now that fob has turned to crap.
Bought new fob on Amazon. Just want to program the new fob without cutting the key. Will just use the dangling key setup.
Can’t seem to determine if there is a way to program the fob, without cutting the attached key or punching out the pin, moving my switchblade key to new fob etc. Just want to abracadabra program the new fob.
Thanks from an 80 year old guy who loves doing hot laps in his Camaro.

You can't program the FOB unless you can turn the ignition.

I have a FAT HEAD key made for mine, so I can program fobs.

I have to hold that key against the FOB as I turn it in the ignition to add it.

Fobs are added as keys, whether or not the fob has a key, the transponder is
still in the FOB.

This is by far the easiest thing to do if possible. You can often buy just the case without the guts on eBay. I’ve not had any issues with my Camaro fobs but have done exactly this with other cars in the past.

Any recommendations on which brand, or they all the same?
I would like to do that.

I didn't get a second key with my car, so I found a site that sells the oem style switchblade key and laser cuts them from a photo. Got my new key in less than a week, and took me all of 10 seconds to program it. Nice and easy.

This seems like a solid choice:

No need to apologize for creating a new thread man. If every Camaro5 user searched for an existing thread about a particular topic this place would be an absolute ghost town...Unless of course you are asking about the 'best oil' or 'best sounding exhaust' lol.

Sometimes things talked about in old posts have been improved upon or changed over time. Personally, I prefer this place be kept alive, even if that means we have to rehash the same old stuff every now and again.

Any youtube vids or links on removing the guts. I ordered a ebay holder or case, whatever its called. I have the battery out on the old fob but dont want to mess up the electronics using brute force to take out the guts.

Your answer didn't answer what he asked. He obviously knows that, read
what he wrote, it is in English...
