Wow, so far 16 in for Saturday and 11 in for Sunday.

Looking like we could have a good turnout either way. Hopefully it's not snowing!

AccuWeather is calling for a foot of snow where I am on Thursday.

Worst winter yet, family blames it on me and the new Camaro.

I voted for Sunday, Little League will be back in full swing in April, if have to do on a Saturday, the later the better, never know what time the games are, but they usually start early and are never played on Sunday.

Does East Coast do any simple stripes installation, would be great to attend and get some things done on the car?

We have not done any stripe installs here. We work closely with a custom paint shop that would do that for us. we pretty much do anything but paint and body here.

Also let me know if anyone has interest in getting on the dyno that day..

I have a question for anyone attending this meetup...for all of you guys that have blacked out your bowtie, how did you do it and would you be willing to help me do mine at the meetup? Let me know what materials I might need to get...

While I have not done it yet, this is what I figure you could do, as some background I do a lot of hobby painting so I do have plenty of background in some of what I am saying. You can pull it right off, then primer it black using plastics friendly primer and then I would use my model paints that I have. I paint with Vallejo paints for miniatures and models, which have a latex base so I find they are smoother. Of course others may recommend different things, but in theory when and if I do this that is what I would do. I can bring my brushes and paints if you want me to give it a shot. I may try to purchase an extra one to try this out on.

Maybe we can try it out.

I'm on the fence about the billet bowties. I certainly don't have $134 to throw down on these, but they look sharp. And I can always try to get someone to buy me them for my birthday.
