What was involved in the install?

4 bolts on the brackets holding the bar to the rear suspension cradle. 2 bolts at each endlink. Torque the bracket bolts to 30 Nm and the endlink bolts to 45 Nm. The hardest part is fishing the new thicker bar around the exhaust. I had to pry mine about a 1/2" to get it fully through, but I have NPP exhaust. An easy to do mod.

If you have an '10-'11 you will need more parts: lower control arms and stabilizer bar end links.

Loaded it up for a road trip to our families cabin. I usually take my Suburban. I've only had my Camaro five months and a drive through some winding mountain roads with the sunroof open sounds like it will be fun.

I'm amazed how much stuff I fit in the trunk.

Driving it back home from lunch today on a road that runs next to a golf course, I heard a loud 'thump' from the back of the car, knew EXACTLY what it was instantly: some mouth-breather shanked a golfball off the fairway and it bounced onto the road and then into the passenger quarterpanel of my SS.

I checked my rear-view mirror, no one was behind me, so I went from 45 mph to dead stop in two seconds in the road (Brembos!), then turned into a median turn lane, parked, got out, found the dent I knew was gonna be there (next to the fuel filler door), then waited for "Tiger Jr" to come look for his lost ball.

He was in his cart heading towards the general area where the ball left the course. When he saw me motioning to him to pull near the fence, he realized what I wanted so he made a U-Turn and hauled-a** in the other direction.

I didn't chase the loser down...its only gonna cost me about 100 bucks for PDR... but its the principle of the thing: He should have paid for his damage. He knew he hit my car. AND this was the best thing that happened to me all day.

Installed my SLP Loud Mouth II axle-back exhaust today. You can also see the tinted LED back-up lights I installed earlier this week.

Ahhh, I spent money on her...... Ordered a FAST 102 intake, Fast fuel rails, and a VMAX Velocity Ring. Next will be to get it installed and retuned.
