I have learned a ton about the GM ECU's in the past several years. Still a lot to learn.
One of my goals while working with GMPP was to share what I am able to learn on these projects. Hopefully to make it easier for others to enjoy thier performance upgrades.

No wonder!!! I had no idea. Regardless - that's still a great job. So - is there going to be much of a benefit of switching over to like a FAST system, or something along those lines, or is this E38 going to be good?

Damn, I wish we could have stolen you while doing the SST Camaro computers & wiring harnesses. It is done now, but getting diagrams and integrating multiple ECU's together was a bear.

Next time we are just going to kidnap Uncle Robin...

Thanks for the info on the heat exchanger. When you said you were using the Lingenfelter unit and were still heat soaking, it seemed odd. On other forums people mentioned not properly bleeding the system and having poor results.

Yep, And we knew that when we filled the system the first time. No mater how good we thought it was free from air it was not. Again tank would have solved that problem. I have noticed some of the tanks on other cars are between the engine and the radiator. I have a Moroso tank for a GT500 that we tried to adapt. No such luck.

It's works pretty well now

Too bad the car was not baselined with the stock LSA motor at the track. We would have gotten an idea of how the Z28 would run

The article seems to say that the car has 515 WHP? How can only that much HP launch a 4000lb car into the 10 second range?

I think 515WHP was the all motor combo. They did a ton of stuff to that car and I think it changed motors 3 times.

talk to my old roommate who has an ls1 camaro with 350 hp normally until he hits his 200 shot. with out nitrious he's running low 11's. with the 200 shot he's running 10.42's. with a solid rear it's easy not too sure with the IRS.

Well the GM Performance Parts LSA Crate engine is about 14,900.
THe custom 4L80E and conversion parts adds another 6300.
THe Kooks Exhaust lists for 2400, the GMPP Heads about 1250
The Components from Lingenfelter added another 4200.
Lunati cam was 350, Valve Springs were 400 with Ti retainers. Pushrods were
230, Extra rear wheels and drag radials added another 900.
The modifications to the intercooler top were done by a friend.
