Had the dealer change it at around 700 miles, they did it for free when I brought a survey back to them.

I know I'll be watching for when mobil 1 goes on sale.... 90 bucks for the oil.

Yep, changed it (myself) @1K. Will again at 5K and every 5K increment after that.

Bought the oil (mobil 1) @ walmart for $42 and paid my stepbro's work to change it for $8. I wanted documentation and had it done at around 2500 miles.

Regardless of what the manufacturer, dealer, etc., say, I guess I'm "old school", and change it at 1K, and switch to Mobil 1.

I've done this for years with no problems/issues.

Changed my oil at 2000 which is the earliest Royal Purple recommends on a new motor.

I had the oil changed and the rear differential fluid changed at about 1k.

Do the rear diff. fluid too. It was full of metal shaving and was very dirty.

I will be changing it @ 1,000 then again at 1,500 then I'll let it go for the normal amount of time.

A lot of people have told me to get the rear differential fluid changed too.
