You're going to have to spend a lot on R&D not just running out there with a hacksaw to get this to work but I LOVE the idea!

Where would you stow a Targa? Maybe fold down the back seat and slide it in the trunk? Doesn't sound as elegant as T Top storage.

Either way though, I guess you could just leave it in the garage if you didn't plan on parking anywhere.

I always thought the T-Tops are a great idea! I can't wait to see the finished version.

I would never have it done to my Camaro. Only if it were from the factory. But I am definitely looking forward to seeing this. I love T-Tops.

Tinted Glass all the way!!

Most (possibly all?) of the thirdgen convertibles were done by ASC.

Smoked glass...

Also, when designing the latches on the removable panels, you need to go way beyond the ones used in 4th gen F-Bods - they had the tendency to pop out and fly off at high speeds, even when locked. I would guess that the short latch pins and a bit of flex in the roof were the culprits...

Huh? I had zero issues with my t-tops in my 96 z28 nor did my old man in his 02 SS. They locked securely and never leaked a drop of water. AFAIK anyone who had trouble with them suddenly popping out when driving did something wrong themselves.
