I don't think it was GM who decided not to show off the car on TV. Fox is who didn't give a crap, just like Hamel.

Each year, GM hands out a free car or truck and the player couldn't give a SH$T. Why does GM even do it? You really think these millionaires want a Chevy when they already have Lambo's, Ferrari's, Hummers, etc.?

I doubt he actually got a car yet. They aren't building saleable cars yet and they can't give away a pre-production car due to liability issues. So it has to be an IOU or they are building saleable cars already and haven't told us.
