Axle Back & Cat Back
What the difference between cat back and axle back exhaust systems? I want to upgrade at some point and realized that I don't really know what the difference is.
Is there an inherent benefit of one over the other? Thanks!

I personally only plan to do a cold air intake and exhaust. So I went axle back, cheaper, relatively same exhaust note....Generally Axle back is much cheaper.

You typically get better gains from cat back systems. If you are after that little bit extra for the strip the cat back is the way to go. If you just want a little better sound than stock you need to shop around for axle back, which are less exspensive.
