Protection from gill chips

Gang, Here is an alternative to the OEM splash guards. They seem to be doing a good job as I have no chips on the gill areas of my car with 5,000 miles. As you can see they are a lot less noticeable than the OEM. I did have a mounting issue / failure on the rears but it was an easy fix. All said I really like them but I believe the way they are mounted could be done better. These came from RPI and cost around 60.00 if I remember correctly. Check out the web site.

Protection From Gill Chips

I have these as well but I only installed them on the front. They seem to have helped a lot. I haven't noticed any additional chips since I put them on a few weeks ago.

What do you think of the way they are mounted?

You can clear bra the gill areas for about the same amount. Just another option.

I have them installed on front and rear. So far, they do a decent job of keeping crap off the sheet metal.
After a couple of months of having them, the "L" bracket no longer sticks to the inner wall, so yeah, I agree, the mounting design leaves a bit to be desired.

They really don't scream "mud guards" which is what I like most about them.

No fooling! I drilled and put a large head black pop rivet thru the flap and that brace. The guy at RPI kinda blew me off about my concern that that failed on mine. Other than that I like it.
