2011 2SS/RS QUOTES SAN DIEGO AREA

There are a few "how much are you paying" threads so I thought I'd share my quotes from San Diego area dealers.

Here is what the quote includes:
2011 CAMARO 2SS
-RS PACKAGE
-AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
-IOM EXTERIOR
-IO INTERIOR (INTERIOR ACCENT TRIM PACKAGE FROM FACTORY)
-WHITE RALLY STRIPES (FACTORY INSTALLED)
-SUNROOF
-20” POLISHED ALUMINUM WHEELS
-BODY PAINTED ENGINE COVER
-GROUND EFFECTS PAINTED AND INSTALLED (IOM)
-HERITAGE GRILL PAINTED AND INSTALLED (IOM)
-CARGO NET

Here are the quotes:
Bob Stall Chevy - $41,330
Stall Chevy - great communication, honest and a pleasure to work with.

City Chevy- $42,350
City Chevy- A little slow on the quote. I thought they forgot about me.

Quality Chevy- $41,928
Quality Chevy- Asked for quote, received it a couple weeks later out of the blue.

Ron Baker Chevy- $43,026
Ron Baker Chevy- A nightmare to work with. Rarely returned emails. First quote was "sorry, must sell at MSRP" and they knew I qualified for military discount. I contacted GM about this and they replied that they spoke with Ron Bakers sales manager and they will honor the discount. After 2 more emails asking him for a new quote I got the quote above but no apology for their "mistake".

Jimmie Johnson Chevy- $???????
JJ Chevy sales manager replied a couple times with promises of a quote but never sent it. JJ Chevy was the worst of all for customer service during this process. This AFTER a forum member contacted a "friend" that is high up there to tell them I was receiving poor service from them. I can't imagine how bad they are once they have your money.

ALL QUOTES include the GM Military discount. All quotes are after the USAA $750.00 discount at time of delivery EXCEPT the Ron Baker quote. They were very apprehensive about that discount basically telling me "we'll see".

for comparison purposes:
TRUE CAR "GREAT PRICE"- $42,107 + Heritage grill and painting of GFX (about $700-1,000)= about $43,000.

It didn't appear as any of them intend to add on "advertising fees" or out-of-line "document fees".
