SGM Touchup Paint Not Even Close
So I'm finally getting around to dealing with some rock chips on my front fascia. Ordered a Langka Paint Chip Repair kit and from Chevrolet, SGM touch up paint.
I never expected to get a flawless repair but when I went to use the touch up paint I was totally diasappointed in the color match. Not even close, way light and somewhat blueish to me. Here's a pic of the touch up paint against my paint... Is this typical of factory touch up paint? Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

I have the factory paint pen thing and it is not close to matching.
I'm wondering if the DR.colorchip kit will match.

CGM isn't either. With the price they have the balls to charge for it, it should be flawless. CGM is like some light grey crap.

My GM Aqua Blue touch up is pretty dead-nuts accurate FWIW.

I went to my local paint shop and gave them my paint code and had 5 oz made for about $17.00 dead on. Paint code is in the trunk on the drivers side under your carpet.

I use automotivetouchup.com and both the spray cans I've gotten have been a spot on match.

I just touched up my car today. It looks great. Start at the bottom part of your bumper first to get your technique down and then work your way up. It's not going to be perfect, but it'll be close.
