As excited as i am, which i am, i kind of feel down about a new replacement engine in only 2 years, i guess its what the 2010 stang guys felt but they knew it was coming. Oh well.
So im only reading E85 in the description, everything else seems to be the same as what we already got. Now i know i read somewhere that our LLT was pushing 325 to the crank in an upcomming vehicle. I know we stated that this would be the same engine family and it will be all speculation from here, but it seems like this LFX will be really close to what we already got plus a few tweaks and parts. Still interesting as hell though, and i see no replacement for the LS3 any time soon, that beast is easy to unleash some more power If theres a new interior as well....well then my baby wont be sitting in the garage anymore

LFX Replaces the LLT in most applications in 2012, the MAX version only lives in the Camaro (from what I've seen) the LLT still lives on in the Mid Sized SUV's though till the end of that life cycle.

what bothers me is why chevy dosent go back to the more powerful big block v8's again. i mean atleast have it as an option. I'm shure that if they redid the ls1 350 to give it about 425hp and had a 396 with around 520hp and did a bigblock big bucks 427 putten out 650hp is more than reasonibal....and have a 4:11 rear axel diffrential as an option would make people really happy also:che vy::chev y::chevy :

Does anyone have info on the new type steel, Gforce Engineering will be using for there super performance drive trains?
These are rated for 1000 plus HP. I heard it is 300R or 500M or something. Gforce is super secret about this and they are building a 1800 hp super Z CAR. I had a conversation with a Gforce employee over the holiday, six beers later and still no details except that he was working on a brand new Z28 Build. Any info is appreciated. |

Sounds awesome!!
Hopefully they also upgrade the AY6 and give the A6 guys the posi. This would be a huge help when driving in snow. This motor should be using the E39 computer that the 3.0L uses also. Hptuners is supposed to have support for this ready by 2.25 according to their forums! |
