I wonder also if these cars could have had and mods done to the electrical systems. Adding stereo equipment, lighting ect.

If they had a spontaneous fire warning label for the windows, it might help alleviate the parking space issue of other cars jamming you....lol...

This video has some pretty good angles of the car for anybody who's interested.

Just a guess...but I would say the gal had no mods on her car in the video...

....I say the culprit is cheap Chinese wiring looms...no q/c, all recycled materials....just a guess....

Sounds more like that person doesn't understand what happens when you accelerate on snow/ice in a rear wheel drive with summer tires.

For some reason I cannot believe this report. Someone dies because a car crashes from sudden unintended acceleration, the airbags don't deploy when it crashes into a HOUSE, the car is not inspected and no police report is filed.... Highly unlikely in this type crash...

Yea. That's the thing about these reports - anyone can submit them and they get added to the website.

Same here. My C5 seems to get sooo much hotter than both my truck and wife's car. And it stays super hot for hours, hot enough that you can't rest your hand on anything for too long. Please tell me this is normal... I chalked it up to this being a performance car, but these stories aren't making me feel any better

My 16 year old son noticed this as well... Curious. He noticed it when I took a 2SS for a test drive and parked it in my garage (Making sure both wife and I fit) and we lifted the hood... Thought it was just me!

I think that refers to this accident, the airbags did deploy and appears to be driver error.

never rule out turning the key to the off (not locked) position if necessary.
I still wonder how an experienced CHP officer could not stop his runaway loaner Lexus that eventually crashed and killed him and his family a couple years ago.
