Street Slayer Twin Carbon installed!

Finally got the clutch installed on Monday. First words out of installers mouth..."damn this is an awesome clutch...smooth as glass." It performs very very close to stock, is very quiet and has great pedal feel. Nearly eliminated the low rpm bucking I got crawling in traffic/parking lots (418 and big cam with stock gears isn't helping (I can putter along at 10-12 mph without stalling in a pinch). I'll throw the 3.91s in and it'll be cherry. Highly recommend this unit, cause while it's not inexpensive...it absolutely does the job!

Kudos and thanks to Hendrix 😁. It was worth the wait.

Steve

Thanks! Keep us posted....With the Street Slayer being rebuildable at about half the cost we feel it's the best value we could come up with .

I was curious, you had low rpm bucking with a stock clutch but now it's all but gone with the Street Slayer? Thanks again

Ah, sorry I was unclear on the low rpm bucking...that was while using the RAM clutch which was nearly undriveable under 2000 rpm. 20 mph minimum in parking lots/traffic unless I rode the clutch so it's no surprise the RAM got cooked and died. The Slayer is a dramatic improvement. I have to remind myself that I don't have to ride it lol.

OK now I understand, keep in mind the Street Slayer will not have a smell so don't think it's OK to ride it till you smell something lol..
