winter project 2010 fe3 to fe4 & more

Another long winter on the east coast so another mod to put the time in.



Old and new sway rear sway bar

new axle seals




new bushings and more





And then the hood











So next week off to the paint shop

What hood vent is that? Zl1 piece ACS? I'm looking to do something with mine to get rid of some of the heat.

Stopped at the paint shop today to see how things were going. so far so good.

Yes the insert is the ACS -TL1 not that hard to work with just the nerve to cut the hole .

Not sure if you've put her down and checked clearances but I had an issue with my Detroit speed rear bar hitting my gforce 1000 hp axles. I had to have a friend fill in the hole for the softest setting and then cut the tip off so they are two way adjustable now

That's common with FE4 bars and aftermarket axles. You can get adjustable rear end links to move them out of the way or use washers on the OEM endlinks.

I drove it 25 miles to the paint shop and didn't notice anything but thanks for the heads up will have a look next time I m out.

Just got some good weather so i went and picked it up at the paint shop today . and yes they do touch .Thanks for the info.
