I am going to grab my sister's nano which she got a few months ago and see if that works.
When you are playing an iPod, you don't need to use the Aux jack. You'll have to take out the aux jack and use the USB cable that came with your iPod and plug that into the USB port right below the aux jack. The audio will get transferred over the USB cable. If the iPod menu doesn't come up when you plug in the USB cable, then the iPod is unfortunately not one of the supported ones.

Plug in the USB cable and let me know what happens.

Oh, and I forgot with the last message...Thanks for buying a Camaro!

My ipod is on it's last leg anyway. I am hoping with a new ipod it will recognize it. Thanks again for your help. BTW, the Boston Acoustic system is amazing. Likely one of the best car systems I've heard in a long time.

Hey codeman,

I figured out the issue. My ipod is not compatiable. I used my friends new ipod and it worked perfectly.

So off to the Apple store or Best Buy. My ipod is on it's last leg anyway. I am likely going to just get a nano which holds enough songs for me.

It is 10,000 songs the Camaro can hold, correct?

Thanks again for your help.

no that limit is on flash drives. The ipod indexes by its self, so you can have as many songs as the ipod can hold.
