I'd look real close at the install, huge props if the tech is meticulous enough to put it back together as to look like it's never been messed with. That's what I really don't like about it. Used cars that look like people have had their hands everywhere in them.

The reason behind this particular engine swap is acceptable.

Tearing down/rebuilding a motor is not brain surgery. All of the TSBs on the motors GM puts together should show you that a properly rebuilt motor is at least as good as one put together at the factory.

Remind the Henna service department that this is an audition for them. Many Austin area Camaro owners are anxiously waiting the outcome on this and will most likely factor this into where they take their vehicles for warranty work.

When is Henna going to be finished with the engine install? Looking forward to the resolution of this problem. I sure hope the lifters don't tick on the new motor.
