Yes and no... We had a lot of people sign up for driving that did not drive (misunderstanding of what driving meant, most thought it was if you were driving to the event in your Camaro). This years post seems to be more realistic of true numbers.

Last year's signup was....not representative of who actually showed. I think, from the beginning, there was a huge misunderstanding of what it meant to be a "driver". Just because one drove his/her car to Indianapolis...doesn't qualify as a "driver" AT the event. This year were did a much better job explaining that.

For reference, there were only 160 registered drivers at the gates, last year.

The sign-up thread is more of a guide, and reference for mass-PMs, anyways. Nothing concrete about it. But, based on hard numbers...like hotel reservations...I expect to at the very least meet our numbers from last year.

It's going to be a great event, as always!!
