I can tell you the Z28 will not have a v6, maybe they will recreate the 302 but I assure you they will not put a v6 in it. My guess z28 will be powered by the Cadillac cts-v supercharged engine like previously speculated.
Ill keep my guns, freedom and money you can keep the change!

Its not politics, its opinion, that's what these forums are all about the love of the Camaro and varying opinions.

the one line you posted in regard to what I said is political. We do not allow that here. You can voice your opinions in other ways.

I wont argue after this but just because I mentioned the president doesn't mean I'm talking politics. I understand the need to keep politics off this site and greatly respect that. I could have said look what change has done for the bills, (TO) that doesn't mean Im talking sports just referring to an individual and situation.

If the Z28 is a twin turbo V6, I called it a long time ago when I argued that muscle cars are more than cylinders. I also said it was unlikely in large part because so many people who identify themselves as enthusiasts are not enthusiastic about a leaner muscle car in the body of a V8 with the efficiency of a V6. There's a style and a standard of performance associated with muscle cars, and a V6 has just as much right to bear the crown. If it can race with V8s, then who cares what's under the hood. Performance enthusiasts care a lot more about the performance numbers than the cylinder numbers. My only concern is cost. Given the reluctance of traditionalists to embrace a high-performance V6 from an American automaker in the body of a classic muscle car, a TTV6 simply can't be expected to cost more than a moderately loaded V8 and expect to make a profit.

Did they use a V6 to keep the cost reasonable and better fuel economy?
