IBM sounded like an automatic to me.
This is a fairly low revving motor @ 6200rpms. and why was the video so blurry, shooter may have not been using a tripod? IDK. The video fo the new cadillac ATS looked like it was going just as fast. |

I think you're right, the ZL1 was driving straight so the tire screech had to have come from the Porche. I was wondering what happened to it, that explains why I didn't see again.

Looks like the Stig got some early seat time in the ZL1, and he brought a friend. Very cool audio

Yeah, doesn't the extra weight of the passenger make the car react a bit differently? That's part of why I'm not too worried about the car screeching the whole time. Doesn't look like they were going for the fastest time, just using the track to tweak the car some more.

Very nice! I like the fact that the car sticks. Makes me more confident that this will defeat not only the GT500, but also the Boss. I'm sure this thing will be an amazing track machine.
I'm predicting a ring time of 7:49.99 Thanks for the Video!

Automatic for sure and yes you can tell from the sound of the shifting. As for AFM you have to remember that having it keeps the cars from having the gas guzzler tax added so it keeps retail cost down also. Without the AFM the SS would be atleast 2,500 to 3,000 more in sticker because it would fall in with lower MPG ratings.
