I'll admit when I put on my LTs it was a PITA; took me and another guy 8hrs to do the job. Granted it took a full 30min to cool down the pipes enough to work on. But I had a power auto lift and full mechanic set. So, would I do it again, probably not. I would pay someone to do it.

Okay guys I loved the sound of my car with the Solo Performance catback but wow it sounds even cooler now. It has this deep throaty rumble now that is just so cool. It really isn't louder just deeper and rumbles more.
I can definitely notice the improvement in the torque as well. The car is quicker and smoother I can't wait to get it on the dyno now and really wonder what it would feel like with a tune. I am so pleased with both these mods added to my catback. |

I called one of the guys at Doug Thorley a few days ago. He said I should have my shorties in about 3 weeks. Give or take a few days. I should have my Corsa cat-back some time next week. I'll definetly post a few vids once I get both installed. I ordered the Cold Air Inductions intake last month, so who knows when that will be here.

Thanks Ivan.......I am very pleased. I can't wait to get some highway time with it. I was having some drone from my catback at 2000 RPM that seems to be gone now. The shift point seems to have moved from 2k RPM to 1500 RPM as well which is interesting. Can't wait to get some more driving time in.
Thanks Doc! Hmmmm which mod to do next....suspension, wheels, a tune, new rearend or gears?? Last edited by Abygale; 05-21-2010 at 11:10 PM. |
