It only matters if your racing someone else. You can have a slower time than the other guy, but if you holeshot him you can still win.

I tried with and without. The time slips with the traction control off were useless. I went sideway left and right 1/2 way down the track and then just let off and coasted in 14.5's. These slips are with traction control on.

Which leads mt to a question about tranny temps.

My gauge ran up to that middle line between the 180º and the 320º som I'm guessing that's 250º-255º. It that bad ?

Again, no the human reaction time does not determine your run, that's just for tripping the light to start timing your run.

Did you have it in D or M (ie sport mode)?

best times would be in S and no tapshift i think.

Most of the time in S. I tried with and without the traction control. I tried holding a little pressure on the torque converter, like 1000 rpms.

To be honest with you, just put it in S and step on it worked the best for me.

My transmisson temps were going up.

My gauge ran up to that middle line between the 180º and the 320º so I'm guessing that's 250º-255º. It that bad ?
