Pfadt Adjustable Competition Tie Rod Kit

In keeping with our multi-tier solutions for many areas of your Camaro chassis, we want to let everyone know about the best, highest performing option on the market for the Camaro Rear Tie Rod Arm: The Pfadt Competition Adjustable Tie Rods.

These have been featured on our development car that pulled over 1.3g at Miller Motorsport Park, and also were installed on the Carriage House Camaro race car that took all three wins at it's first event this year, including a track record!

Like almost all Pfadt Race Engineering Products, these units are lighter, stronger and completely unique to our company. We do not sell the easiest solution; we take the time to engineer the proper solution, while exploiting the advantages of materials chosen to result in a product that you can rely on in every application.

This product is designed to minimize deflection and toe change by using high strength aluminum turnbuckles mated to stainless steel rod ends. This complete kit includes toe lockout plates that replace the factory eccentric bolts, which are prone to slipping. After installation, toe adjustment is done by loosening the lock nuts and adjusting the length of the tie rod. The rod ends are Teflon lined for smooth, maintenance-free operation.

We have seen the OEM toe arms bend in racing applications at Daytona this year. While this can be considered a good fuse for suspension impacts on the street, the reality is that quick rising rate hits, like cutting an apex tight over the curb, can lead to the toe arm failure.

The racing Rear Tie Rod kit is perfect for both the dedicated road and drag racer. In both situations you will experience more stability and better control during hard cornering and drag launches.

This product creates a solid connection between the suspension upright and sub-frame. This hard connection will transmit some added road noise so it is not recommend for the casual street Camaro where Cadillac comfort is a priority. Speak with our vendors and ask them what their impressions are on their own vehicles, they will tell you.

As always, please do not hesitate to direct questions to us about this or any other products.
