Well actually it was a two for one. Speeding and no front plate.. Seriously wish the police force would do something useful and stop/catch real criminals. Nothing but glorified tax collectors... Oh well.

Maybe they did do something useful, after all...like making the roads safer??...one day you'll get over it and realize you probably deserved the speeding ticket...(like when you have kids or teen-age drivers)...

The officer was doing exactly what he's suppose to do; enforce the law. Which laws, and how far, should they be "bent" before he takes action? If you're aware that you're breaking the law by not putting on a front plate and exceeding the speed limit, you shouldn't be surprised (or pissed) that they take notice of you.
I'm certainly no saint on the roads, but I keep it reasonable and leave the racing at the track. I have to ask myself a question everytime I pull out of the driveway;

"Do you feel lucky, Punk?"
