http://www.camaroz28.com/2013-camaro-build-counts/ In 2014, there were: 71,481 V6's 23,200 SS's 2,436 ZL1's 515 Z/28's In 2013, there were: 62,621 V6's 23,855 SS's 7,956 ZL1's So, while the production of Camaros overall increased, there was a substantial drop in V8's being produced - and that's with the addition of the Z28, adding an additional V8 to the mix. The growth was in the V6 market. This paints a very different picture of the success of the redesign. The V6's weren't changed as much as the V8's, so it's interesting to see the V8 sales actually dropped while the V6's, which changed a lot less, took off. I'm guessing the performance enthusiasts cared for the redesign a lot less than the grocery-getters. It seems like the models that changed the least since 2013 was where the boom was, and the more the change, the more the sales stagnated or reversed.

The difference is, I am new to Camaros this year so I had no pre-conceived alligence to old styling. But now that I am a '14 Gen5 loyalist, I probably won't like the changes to 6Gen. Human nature to resist change.

Thank you for taking the time to come on this thread and insult our cars (not as aggressive looking (WRONG),Volt taillights, grocery getter etc...) Your logic is flawed The refresh on the front made the Camaro look much more aggressive. The taillights are a big improvement over the old style, they make the rear look wider. A more refined look. With the price of gas the V6 has plenty of power for most people @ 323 hp. Look around in traffic at what most people are driving....Most of them (not me) would probably think driving a 400+ hp car is just silly and you are compensating for a short coming of some sort. Think what you want, the refresh was a success. |

Cool Info is there an easy formula to figure out all your options and get a fraction for how rare your car is?

It's hard to say the design is causal. Perhaps peoples' focus on electric or fuel efficient cars is more at play, coupled with price could explain the V6 boom over V8. -CRT Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

My brother's car is one of 2,269 with Recaros (sweet!) but one of 15,273 in Summit White.
I wonder if there is a count on the full indy stripe options available? His car has them.

Your pushing your luck. It's great Scott secured the info he did for you guys. The
2010 figures were never broken down to this degree. After spastic-squirel went down, us early build guys were left out compared to the info you have. Consider yourself lucky.

For me I was planning on buying a 2014 ZL1, but when the redesign was shown at the New York Auto Show in April of 2013, I decided it was time to get my ZL1 now. Put me in the category of not liking the redesign rear end. But I am still happy to see that sales numbers are strong. |

So so far I'm one of 4,722 1ls camaros is there a way I can factor in the color and the interior of that to get a more accurate number?
