Can I have your old one? =)

That's one hell of a machine. Are you trying to start your own NSA with all that hard drive space?

My current machine has a 256GB SSD and a 2TB drive. They are getting full. I never thought that would happen.

This was the answer to your original (before it was edited) question

The memory thing is an odd one. Most software will not utilize much past 2-4GB at a time. This means with it would take quite a few things running all at the same time to even approach using more than 16-32GB of memory. The addressing of only 51 gigs of ram? I think someone misread the max memory bandwidth as max memory size; the chip supports up to 64GB with a max memory bandwidth of 51.2GB/s. The CPU has 4 memory channels; meaning it uses memory in clumps of 4 sticks (4 or 8 sticks).

Falcon Northwest makes great machines and I love the paint jobs on their cases. What color you getting or what theme will your case be?

Um....I couldn't resist!

The case will be the dark blue, with these logos on each side.

I'm still stuck on why 8 sticks of ram when you could have done the same thing with 4 sticks of 16 gig. Price wise the ram would come out the same but you could have gone with a way less expansive board, saving you a ton of money without taking any performance hit.

NASA called, they want their computer back.

Joking aside, the ASUS Rampage IV Extreme is a bit pricey, but it's a very nice motherboard. Plenty of room to play with (add two more Titans for QUAD SLI MONSTER ), and those Titans in SLI will be running at full x16 speed.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost you? Which kidney did you get rid of?
