I don't like even like yellow Camaros, but the best color for the ZL1 is definately yellow.

Hey guys, I am a new member here from NJ, with a question about Yellow. I love this color and am very torn between this and Silver. My deciding factor is as follows: Is the yellow being sold on the ZL-1 much like a bright yellow or is it more of a faded type yellow.

I know I am on a Camaro forum but the best way to make a comparison would be to use to Ford colored yellows as follows, does the color more closely resemble Zinc Yellow which is the "faded" looking one

Example:

OR

Screaming Yellow which is a bright yellow that I like ALOT more.

Example:

Thanks a lot for your help, if it's the latter I think I may be ordering my first yellow car ever!

I came in here to see yellow ZL1s not yellow Mustangs and the person who posts doesn't even own a Camaro. smh

I am looking for a comparison based off those two colors which I know well, and can easily be differentiated. I see some pictures and it is hard to tell, and some say it really pops and others say it looks like they softened it on the ZL-1... Just trying to get some opinions based off of owners who have one....

I have seen the yellow on other Camaros and my ZL1 side by side. They are the same color.
This is a tint coat yellow paint job I believe and as such the color does change shade when the lighting source changes. It looks plenty bright to me.

The best way for you to judge is to view the Yellow real time. Photos vary too much to make a decision

Got together with a few of my "plastic car" friends at VIR a couple of weeks ago ago. The only ZL1 there so it was an object of curiosity for many

The ZL1 handled well around the road race course. We were on the main circuit. Had no issues with over heating (temp in the high 90's). Stock car except I had a little more negative camber 1.3 dialed in.

Great fun!!!
