What would you do?
My plan was to trade my Mach1 in on the convertible Camaro (whenever it gets produced) but a friend just got his hands on a '07 Vette (base model). It was a repo that his company did back in Dec of '07. So far, it is in mint condition and has 7400 miles on it. He is willing to sell it to me for about $25k. Thoughts and votes?

Rolling along...

The Vette should hold it's value pretty well so get it now and you can sell it once the Camaro convertible comes out in 2011.

GET THEM BOTH!!!!!!!...you get to enjoy the 'Vette while you are waiting for the Camaro convertible...this is a "win-win" situation and the 'Vette is a good price for that model year with that few miles on it!!...ENJOY!!!!!!

Get rid of the Ford...and get a GM!
I'd get the Vette...then switch over to the Camaro...

Hard to beat that price on a low-mileage Vette! I'd definitely jump on that. I would imagine it would be worth at least that much in another year when you can get your hands on a convertible Camaro.

I'd get an insurance quote on the 'Vette. Sometimes when you delete a back seat....

One final thought, the Mach1 is also my daily driver now (since wife wrecked her car). The vette would replace that (which isnt a big deal since the family trips are in the SUV anyway).

Depends on what you want to do.....
I personally don't want to own a vette, so that isn't even an option. I don't want a mustang either (old or new). If you have tons of money (and it sounds like you have a good bit of money, given the dquestion), go crazy and chose option 2.
