To those with optional 21's

I doubt that any of you didn't see the recent threads about people owning both sets of wheels when you order the 21's and not receiving them.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=164032
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=164275

After seeing both threads I was kind of mad. I bought my car 6 months ago and never received the 20's either. I talked to my dealer yesterday and explained to him how I was entitled to both sets of rims. Even emailed him the two links above. He said he would talk to his manager and the parts department and get back to me. Well today he calls me and the rims are ready for me to pick up. All I had to do is ask.

So for those who didn't get their rims/tires either, whether it be 1 day, 6 months or even longer, that property is yours. Go get it.

nice. i'm so glad i have camaro5.com
I know information that my dealer won't tell me, doesn't know himself, or doesn't want me to know. knowledge is power. I even caught one salesman in a bunch of lies from educating myself on here. Called him out on it and brought up C5 on my phone and showed him. bet he thought i didn't know diddly squat about the camaros, well he knows better now. It appeared I knew more than he did.

What's even more messed up is this paticular dealership has 6 Camaros currently on its lot that have the optional 21's. When I think back to when I got mine, I can remember three others that had them too. This dealership knows exactly what they are doing because they've been doing it for awhile. Would have to assume that is why they were so willing to give me my property. Didn't want me messing up the "game" they have going.

I called the parts department of the same dealership and had them give me a quote on a complete set of the RS rims and tires. The price came out to just over $3600.
