Maybe silver around the lug nuts instead of the black would look better or even body colored?

I think what bothers me is that the outer rims are silver. If those were all black they would be pretty badass. Especially with a CGM or black car. Hell, any color.

It looks to me like they are just beauty rings. So, getting a different color or not having them at all are options.

since the rings clip over the edge of the rim just remove the rings and you will have fully black wheels......

I could swear they had the same wheels on those schwimmwagens that the Nazi's used in WW2.

I finally got to Epcot today and saw that car. It looks really good in person. I took some pictures, but they are basically the same as what has already been posted...Josh wasn't there when I was there, so it's just pictures I took from outside the little barrier wall around the car. I did like the color in person. The only real drawback for me were the wheels, as mentioned about a million times by others. While they are "retro", they just don't do anything for me...and I had 2 '69 Camaros and a 70 1/2, so I can dig the retro thing. The problem is that this is the base car, and that is what most non-enthusiasts will be buying on the lot, and I just don't think those wheels are going to excite people that aren't Camaro enthusiasts....heck, most of the die hard Camaro people on here can't stand them, so it's tough to think that the mainstream buyer is going to like them....oh well, I love the car!!! This was my first chance to see one in person.

You guys that saw it in person, how was the color. Does it change shade in the light and at the angle you look at it? It looks to go from a blue to a teal color.

With so many people going for aftermarket wheels, even average consumers, does it even matter?

I didn't really notice any color change, but it is hard to tell in the artificial light that I saw it in. It looked like one of those colors that will look different in the sun light. I'm going back over to Epcot in a few days, so I'll take a better look as I walk around and see if it looks like the color changes. One strange thing with the color was that when I looked at some of the pictures I took, from one angle it looked like the fuel filler door was a slightly different color than the fender, but in person I didn't notice it at all and in other pictures I have it doesn't look like that at all...that makes me wonder if maybe the color does look a little from different angles.

Just food for thought.
Personally, I'll be getting them as a fashion statement. I really like the way they look and I'd rather have OEM wheels than aftermarket anyway.
