Tires & miles

I have just changed the oil for the 5th time in my garage. I have 25,245 miles on our 2012 ZL1. I have changed the front tires at 14,500 miles due to excessive wear on the outside of both tires. The Chevy dealer changed the camber ever so slightly to help with the high speed cornering I endure with my everyday commute. I expect to get 30,000 miles on the rear set. We still get 21.6 miles per gallon in my 200 mile daily commute. Just remember at speeds in excess of 140 mph keep the sun roof closed as you tend to get front end lift. Happy driving everyone and have a safe and great summer.

It brings the largest smile to her face every day she drives it. We have way too much snow to drive it more than about 16,000 miles a year. The 2012 Equinox we bought in August of 2012 has 28,000 miles on it. 52,000 miles a year, we trade them off at 95,000 miles and get new ones. The only vehicle we have kept after 5 years or 100,000 miles is a 04 Silverado 2500 HD 8100 which has 87,000 miles on it. Keep up the good work and us in Chevy's. Thanks

Wow. At 12,500 my right rear needs replaced, the left rear has a bit left and my two fronts show barely any wear at all, other than the usual shoulder wear. I endure as many high speed corners as I can everyday I drive it. Something seems odd here...

...or is it just me

Impressed by your 21.6 MPG. As hard as I try I've never even broken 20 for any trip.

You must remember also that they have roads that were built in the 50's at $1,000,000.00 per mile.

I just noticed you're in Estes Park .... that's another WOW!
