Hi everyone, well i think it may be time to get rid of the little black car that I own now(08 G5) and get a much needed upgrade.
I plan to get a aqua blue metallic 2SS RS w/automatic trans

My first question is if i order lets say Monday, when do you guys think I will get the car? :(

Second, Will i get anything in the mail like what some of you have received already?

I just spook with my local dealer that I will be ordering from and his thoughts were that if I ordered my 2ss rs, I would probably receive it around October. Now I don't know how accurate that is, or if that is because I dwell in Florida and we seem to get cars in later than most other states.

yeah i hope to get it before october. I will be trading my G5 off which has 27034 miles on it. I put a lot of highway miles on it because I basically live in the middle of a pasture and have to drive 45 miles each way to work. I dont really want to put to many more miles it, more miles less the money. As far as cosmetics go tho my car is in A+ shape. If i have to wait til october i will have close to around 55k miles on my car.

I was hoping you would say June or July..... :(

There's a really slim chance you can get an SS by summer. But it's possible. The much more likely scenario is fall-winter of this year.

If you order an LT or an LS, you can have it much quicker.

Hmmm why is that, are they buiding less V8 cars or is it just most of the orders were SS's?

well guys i started this thread some time ago.... i have the G5 paid off, with 34k miles on it. any new word on how fast these cars are being built? i wanted to test drive or at least see one in person but none have been delivered in my area yet. i need to be getting something done soon, i took my car to midway chevrolet in kearney to get some service work done and they said my tires will be needing to be replaced soon. They actually failed inspection. i dont really want to put new tires on a car im only going to have for a few more months. im going to drive my 85 Fiero GT for the time being
btw im still hard set on a 2SS RS
if i order sometime real soon anyone have any ideas when i could maybe expect to see it?

I'd be interested in any replies on this thread, too. I've got a ten year old Prelude that I'd like to avoid having to perform any more maintenance on by replacing with a shiny new Camaro. But if I order a Camaro, I can't wait six months on it. I'm starting to think "tweener" cars.
