I can easily see the price range for a Camaro to be between $25K and $50K depenending no how you option it out considering the performance options already out there today.

interesting information.
Don't want to burst anyones' bubbles, but you can be assured that pricing is one of the last items to be decided upon when a new vehicle is launched. (yes, Virginia, the fist fights continue right up until the 11th hour!) So......while some of this information could be construed to be obvious - and some could be conjecture, don't believe pricing -- or, for that matter, the engine info. Again - don't want to upset anyone ...but there is so much MIS-information out there...............don't believe everything you read. Lastly -- let me say this: Affordable is a relative term. If someone's thinking of seeing a 450 horsepower Camaro for $20K, they're gonna be disappointed unless they're looking at 'pre-owned' |

Well, this is again, all speculation, but if the camaro will indeed be priced within a few hundred of a Mustang and a brand new Mustang Premium starts out at $27,620 then a V-8 Camaro for under $30,000 is VERY possible. Even with the standard 3% inflation per year, that still puts the Mustang at $29,302 in 2009... add $500 because the Camaro is going to be more expensive and you have $29,802 for a new V-8 Camaro making somewhere between 400 and 430 HP!

price for base Z28
Is there any info on what the base price on the Z28 (400-450hp advertised) Camaro will be. I hope it's less than $30,000, along the lines of 26-27. I don't need any fancy packages. A black Z28 will make me more than happy. Thanks in Advance.
