Beautiful car. Tremendous effort. Are those 20x8.5 on all 4 corners or 20x10's ?

Car is lowered 1" with Hotchkis lowering springs The rims are 20x10's with General G-Max 275-40 ZR 20. The car handles great on Watkins Glen Road Course. for the compliment.

The hole is cut out with a fine tooth metal blade. It's like a saws all. You just cut very slow with light pressure while cutting. You can't go fast or the metal will heat up & blister the paint. The ones covering gills look heavy & bulky but really there not if you look at the pics real close. Thanks for the compliments.

Pretty sure my hubby has a cutting wheel/air tool for cutting thru metal.

So the rear vents are cut into the body as well? Any weakening of the sheet metal or are the vents strong enough to act as bracing? Lastly, how big of a hole for the rear vent/insert? Are all three OE gills cut out? Thanks for the info.

No the rear gills aren't cut out. I'm working on a way to open the slot out and put a carbon mesh in the slot so I can cut the gills out and directly run flexible 3in. rubber tubing to the brakes.

Ok, I was sure if you had to cut a hole or not, but they do look to be a good inch or more thick. Sounds like a good idea to run an air shaft. That's definitely something I'd like to do as well. The only set of rear vents I've found so far are cut into the body. But do not have the tubing included as part of the kit to cool the brakes. Which of course means cutting another hole.

Who makes those? These are the only ones I've found:

Opening the slot is optional. But you do need to cut a hole to fit/insert the vent.

Transformation #4 here we go again. What a liar this guy is [AKA] myself. Haven't done nothing to the Camaro since putting up for the winter last October.

So bought a few things to do to the car this spring. Finally got some good weather to start the new transformation. Put new battery in today. Took the stripes off the hood the car is going to go naked.

Took front clip off trunk lid spoiler fog light bezels. Took hood mirror off sold it to a member. Removed shield from around the hood latch.

No pics yet have to get new camera. sorry I am just waiting 4 all the comments. on this subject. So lets get on with the fun.

Took the stripes off the trunk lid & spoiler. Removed the taillight bezels. Took the felt liner off the under side of trunk lid. That's it for today.

Dropped a nut while working under the hood. Got the magnet bar out looked under the car to get the nut. Spotted a pool of oil what the hell. So I jacked the car up to change the oil. When I got under the car to check to see if it was motor oil leak NOPE. After checking with a light it turns out to be a leak on the left side of the transmission. Taking car in to dealer Monday to have checked out.

Well believe it or not they couldn't find any leaks. Took the spoiler off finished cleaning up the stripes & 3M tape. Got all the crap off the trunk from under where the spoiler was.

Hoping for some good weather this week. Took car to get the lines buffed out where the old vinyal stripes have been for 5 years. Ijustifys husband did an awesome job same as always. Looks just like they were never on there. Hope to take the hood off in the next couple days. Want to get started with the new hood mod.
