how does it look and fit with the top up? How about rear view mirror image, is it reduced?

I have one. It blends in with the roof when top is up. When it's down I don't even notice it out the rear view mirror.

I love mind and its just for looks. NO its not called a roll bar or even for that purpose but the revolution bar is much thicker than the CDC bar, hell it might work but I don't plan to roll a car again. Done that and once is enough. Michael in South Boston, Va

While I have never rolled a Camaro over, I have rolled another vert, I wish it had had a roll bar. My whole life I have worn a seatbelt when driving. I hate to say it but thank god at the time I wasn't wearing my seat belt, for some reason, moments before my accident I felt uncomfortable wearing it and took it off, when the car rolled my body fell sideways inside the car. Had I wore my seat belt I would have remained upright and my head would have been the first thing to hit the pavement....followed by the car after.

Ever since then I have worn my seatbelt, I figured I had an angle looking over my shoulder that day for taking it off not more than a mile before my accident.

Agreed, never want to do that again!

This angle that was watching over you, was it obtuse or acute?

Calling it a roll bar would have insurance/liability ramifications.

Technically I think a roll bar has to have a specific type of metal, a minimum diameter and be welded to the lower frame.

Now there is nothing from stopping the adventurous installer from welding this to the body metal instead of just bolting it in....

I don't follow, what do you mean by obtuse or acute?

Looks good. I think I'm going to get one on my HWSE Convertible. Good to hear the install is pretty straight forward.
