Question about Barton short throw installation

Scheduled to receive my Barton short throw shifter with flat stick tomorrow so beginning to put a game plan togethor to install. I seen this this shifter has an adjustable height for the stick. What is everyone running theirs at? What would be the pro's and cons of running all the way down or up? Just trying to get an idea of the best setup before I start the install.

The flat stick is about an Inch taller then the polshed stick, so you probably going to want it threaded all the way down.
