I was suprised my wife like the first one (not the second and we haven't seen the third). She actually wants to see it on our anniversary; there must not be anything else out there that's good, LOL!

I like em all, I agree the 2cd is the weekest, but I still liked it. Of course I use to own a Evo. I am a big Paul Walker fan, so I am looking forward to the 4th one. I like Tokyo Drift alot, I have it on HDDVD ( I know I got that one wrong lol ) and I think it is really good eye candy. Car movies are always cool IMO, there isn't many out there, so I guess it doesn't suffer by comparison. I would get em, I already did. BTW that maro in the 2cd one is sweet!

I can actually watch the first and second one. They're ok, but the third one was horrible.
If the whole movie wasn't boring enough,

***Spoiler****

They put a freaking Nissan engine in a Mustang!!!! WTF!!!!!

****end spoiler***

just horrible.

while the third movie was complete rubbish (as was the entire series so far), the cars and colors and action looks good on Blu Ray... the cinematography was excellent and the Blu Ray format makes for some good definition during the racing scenes.

so far, the best cars were in the second one, the best story line was in the first one and the best cinematography was in the 3rd one... if I was going to do it, I'd wait for the 4th one to come out on Blu Ray and see if they offer a full set.

Like how a big ole' HEMI can do a wheel stand without doing a burnout on the street?... Or how that car has like ten gears (I mean it's like they show Turetto shift like ten times)?

WOW... I admit I bought it yesterday, but told the wifey I was going to return it (hoping she'd let it go). However, after your spoiler, I might return it and wait after all, LOL. YIKES

I've read the Blue Ray was pretty good, definition-wise. That's kinda' what pulled me in. However, is it necessary to see rice in Hi-Def?... Umm... I might just wait to see if they do singles after all. Coming from car-guys, I'm thinking it's going back...

Thats just how much grip that car gets, those tires were pretty impressive. As for the gear changing ... the car probably has a high/low selector with a close ratio 5 speed. So 1L-2L-3L-4L-5L-1H-2H-3H-4H-5H. Yeah, thats it. 5speed+high/low.

The acting was WAY better on 3. Plus the eye candy. I didn't watch 2, but looking forward to 4. Paul Wagner sux, sorry Silver He's a horrible actor, but I'm hoping the script makes up for it.

4 eye candy

Edit: Like Spike said...wait for the 4.

I personally think paul walker is an incredible actor when he is compared to his last partner, a horrible actor named tyrese gibson. I cannot stand that mans acting.
