Thank you so much! The custom work is definitely what sets it apart. I'm in the process of completely restoring my 1972 GMC Jimmy which will have custom fabrication from the ground up; can't wait to bring both vehicles out to shows together
You'll have to show progress picks of the Jimmy as well.

I can do that!
It's still a far way from being done but I'm just excited to be working on it. We're doing an extensive amount of custom fabrication and it's just me and my father working on it so it takes a while but we're making process. We're doing a complete frame off restoration; we just finished boxing in the frame and are now starting a little body work on the frame to prep it for paint. When it's done, it's going to be lifted with a custom fabricated airbag suspension on 46" tires. Planning a custom interior with a similar stereo as my Camaro. The body will be a pearl white and the frame metallic silver. Hoping to turn a few heads with this truck haha!
Here's a couple pictures...

This was the truck before we torn it down. The body of the truck was perfect, no rust. It had a 6" lift with 35" tires.

Taking the frame out from under it…

Welding in the steel plates to box in the frame…

This is what the frame looked like when we started; "unboxed". Basically the frame had three "walls" and we welded in the forth closing wall…

And this is what it looks like now with the boxing in complete.

Starting a little project on the car tomorrow. I've kept all my badges chrome thus far partly because everyone said I should paint them and I was rebelling against them but mainly because I didn't know what color to paint everything haha! The perfect color finally occurred to me so I'm going to tackle the project tomorrow. I'm painting the "Camaro" fender letters, rear RS badge, and the taillight bezels. Also changing up the trunk "black out" panel. I should get some pictures up tomorrow, you'll have to check back to see what color I decided on

Your dad has some serious skills, master fabricator for sure! Pearl white will look awesome, leaving all the trim an badges shaved? Could have a SICK stereo install in that bad boy!

My dad never stops amazing me with what he can do. We always joke that the details we're putting into the frame shows the difference between a fabricator doing the work and a painter. As a fabricator, we are filling any imperfections with steel, where as a painter would fill imperfections with body filler. We strive for those kind of details.
I keep going back and forth about that badges/trim to keep. Some of it is almost needed, such as around the taillights. But not going to leave any of it chrome, whatever stays will be painted. There's so much room in the truck, should be able to do something crazy with the stereo.
