I can't be the only one who immediately thought "just another variant of the Mustang".

Is it so surprising? Bet it's the same performance of every other special edition that's rolled out the last two years.

I know Im probably in the minority here,but i actually like the car.Look,im a huge knight rider fan.I think it will actually look pretty cool on the small screen.I think its a little silly to suggest that a show wont even last a season if you havent even watched a episode yet.In the long run it doesnt matter what we think about it here.It depends how the veiwing public likes the show.

I watched the pilot and also have been and still am a HUGE original Knight Rider fan as I grew up watching the show.. If GM was still selling the f-body that looked the same as the original KITT, I would buy one in a heartbeat. However this new KITT just doesn't have the same personality as Anthony Daniels. Val Kilmer is constantly saying he has no fellings or emotions because he is a machine. That takes you out of the area of imagination. There are obviously more liberal writers and producers doing the show this time as it is not a kid friendly show anymore. Morals and family values out the door with this one as with the original Knight Rider had some.. The new Mustang KITT does not look bad at all. However the super pursuit mode looks hideous.. in either case, I will give the show a chance and see if they make it more kid friendly and so forth as it should be..

I've come to the conclusion that ford's trying to destroy the KITT name that's the only thing I can think of for the butt ugly mustang and now kitt changing into a truck?? wtf? Someone said it in here earlier, the old KITT was kid friendly, but this new garbage?

Okay remind me again, did I miss some huge amounts of violence in the pilot? I can only remember little bits of blood here and there not any extreme stuff. What's this stuff about not being kid friendly?

Very interesting the transformation. then again our camaro turns into a full fledged robot, not just a base 1500 pickup...

Nothing wrong with it, and I think it's pretty cool. The CGI is well done and the concept it pretty nice as well.
