Cooler air does make a difference
I went to the track yesterday I ran a 7.97 in the 1/8 at 89.06 mph and a 12.39 in the 1/4 at 108.36 mph my 60ft was 1.86 on stock tires. That wasn't my best 60ft but the 56 degree weather made up for it. I would have loved to seen my time at my normal 60ft at 1.80 but thats the way it goes. My mods are LT, cai, dyno tune and yank 3200 converter. I still can't leave the line as hard as I want to without breaking the tires loose but I can cure that with drag radials. These cars will run good with the wright combination and weather thats foresure.

How true...
Temp here when they opened the staging lanes was a balmy 36 degrees!!! Surprisingly enough they did a nice job prepping the track and folks were able to hook! Track elevation is 830' but the DA was -970!

Holy cow. That's some seriously good air. My best run was at negative DA. Friday night at PBIR was -382 DA, but I wasn't able to make it due to prior plans.

WOW!!!! Those are some nice timeslips!
I have basically the same setup except on an LS3. I'm pretty sure if I can launch it correctly I can get into the 12's but not that low into the 12's. Your times give me hope!
