It was their price at that time. I told them they were nuts if they thought I even give that price a second thought. In fact when I took delivery of my 2013 in October of 2013 at Quality Chevy, the sales lady told me JJ Chevy was still asking the same $25K mark-up on their ZL1's, even they were surprised

Dealerships like that are just unbelievable!!

Where is Quality Chevy?

I asked every dealer in San Diego to order a 13 for me, no one would, i even offered $10,000 over, still no with $5k deposit. A salesman at a dealer in La Mesa gave me the number in OC to call to order one. Go figure. I picked my car up in October.

I just do not believe JJ sold more than 3 so far.

It was a black one my wife saw in San Marcos at Best Buy.

Quality Chevy is in Escondido. JJ Chevy had the highest mark-up of all of them I contacted. They sold the first one at $25,000 over sticker and were asking the same on the Ashen Grey one. Bob Stall Chevy in La Mesa was asking $8000 over MSRP and Courtesy Chevy was asking about the same. I refuse to pay a mark-up on any car!!

I have seen the Black ZL1 three times now, twice at Best Buy in fact I saw it again today.

I also got mine at Quality Chevrolet. I live in Carlsbad. Other dealers were either charging way more than MSRP or were too small for allocations. Lori, at Quality, was awesome. I took delivery in August.

Bob stall gave me the number and name at Selman in OC to order my ZL1. I had to turn down 4 allocations to get CF hood NAV and black wheels, NAV was most important.

I assume to get it out of the box and filter area. It's a seperate kit that Roto-fab sells. I figured why not since I'm installing the CAI anyway and should have easy access to it.

It is a snug fit, but the intake is designed to be used with the stock W/W reservoir in place. Several ZL1 owners have purchased the Roto-fab W/W reservoir kit in preparation for the installation of the Big Gulp which does require the stock reservoir to be removed.

We've been getting more questions on our ZL1 intake, so I'm guessing we have quite a few new ZL1 owners on the forum. Please take a minute to read through this thread. We will be more than happy to answer any questions you have.

Installed my Roto-fab ZL1 CAI tonight. Rediculous.....the supercharger sound is like that of a jet engine.......throttle is much more responsive....real seat of the pants feel, crisp increase in engine performance throughout all gears. I had this big s eatin grin when I opened it up and ran it through the gears. Nice job guys.

Lori Got me my ZL1 overnight, I talked with her at around 830 PM on a Thursday, picked up car Friday afternoon...literally. No waiting...with no Markup. Quality Chevrolet is awesome. I have yet to see another Z on the road...

As for the ROTO-FAB, just got mine installed last night! I went with the carbon fiber, looks great, I'm getting lotsa looks from the ever present mustang drivers on and around base, because that supercharger just sings now!

I concur, I bought my ZL1 from Lori too, she does a fantastic job and I was very happy with the professional service from her and Quality Chevrolet. I have only seen a few on the road, mine is IOM with polished wheels. I'm sure we will cross paths somewhere on the road.
