Someone asked me why I needed it. Response: "Well I bought a V8 and GM sold me a 4 cylinder."

Is there a reason you are unplugging it? Just wondering as I see no reason to.

The onstar app doesn't have full functionality and it reports as incomplete on the onstar monthly report email, which tells you nothing anyways.

Actually, some still want the actual/percieved mileage gains (the difference yet to be determined) that AFM may provide...It's all good...One of the benefits over a tune, it's not permanent AFM removal...

This really means nothing. Lots of people run monitors through the odb port, I'm sure it registers the same with onstar. There is nothing that says you cannot use the odb port.
