Mount Rainer Cruise Sunday 2nd of September

I was thinking about a cruise late September to Mount Rainer with maybe a picnic type lunch and maybe there be a start to fall color to the tree's. Any Idea's?

So, right now is to make this on the 2nd of September and trying to decide the best meeting place? Please help me on this idea.

The new Paradise Jackson Visitor Center offers general information, exhibits, the new park film, guided ranger programs, book/gift store and cafeteria. This visitor center is usually open daily from May to early October. From mid-October through April, it is usually open only on weekends and holidays.

The historic Paradise Inn, a concessioner-operated hotel, offers lodging, a dining room and a gift shop. The Paradise Inn is usually open from mid-May to early-October and is closed in the winter.

The Guide House houses the Paradise Climbing Information Center, where visitors can obtain climbing permits and hiking and backcountry camping information.

The historic Paradise Ranger Station, is also located at Paradise. Information services formerly available at the Paradise Ranger Station are now available at the Guide House. The new Paradise Jackson Visitor Center offers general information, exhibits, the new park film, guided ranger programs, book/gift store and cafeteria. I was thinking about that too but trying to keep things cold in a hot truck. It's all up for a vote among the ones that want to go.

I agree, pot luck sounds good, but keeping things cool maybe an issue. Plus, I don't allow food in the ride!

Even though I don't have a Camaro, I may tag along and take come pictures. I -think- I have that weekend free.

Gary, it's a drive to Paradise, not Sunrise... You can come to my house and meet up, though! I'll have coffee on.

I going to pursue this. I loves a picnic , but the summer temps may still be with us. It'll be a far drive for me, but I need to get some miles on the odom for further break-in; I should have my new cam in too .

The only reason I may not go is because my dad's time may come :(. He's 91 but I still don't want him to go.

'Got my fingers .
