Radios are a great idea - at a very minimum, we need the lead and tail cars to have them...

Tom, I'd suggest investing in some. We have used them all over, to Tahoe, to Canada, where ever. Phone service can be sketchy and this way we can keep the group together and communication is easy. You will also need them for the WCOFF run in June. (Read HRS's PSA )

I got mine at WalMart for less than 50 bucks, they have a 20 mile range, rechargeable batteries, and multiple stations.

I'ma go look right now. I feel like going for a drive anyway. Can't hurt to have some fun radios around too.

Good choice! Those are what I have, and I highly recommend them.

Not to be a bummer Thomas, but I ran across something today that I thought you might be interested to see:

http://www.salvageautosauction.com/v...ton-Washington

Curious to know what it went for. Listing doesn't tell.
Still makes me sad.:(

I posted it on Facebook awhile back. I believe they were asking $7800 for it and they had a pending bid at the time. Not sure what the final closing bid was.

WOW DUDE! That's CRAZY! Sad to see the old girl again. :( Great find, Gary. I'm a little surprised they didn't just tear it apart and sell the pieces separately. Could have gotten more for it. Whoever bought it got my ******** X3 T-harness that I forgot to disconnect from the factory amp. >.<

My insurance company did pay off the remaining loan (a little over $33k) and gave me the difference between that and the Actual Cash Value. I only had that car like 9 or 10 months. First and last owner. :(
