magnaflow makes good stuff.

I have their muffler on my truck and it sounds awesome outside but has some drone around 2000 rpms in the cabin. Some guys that had that problem added resonators before the muffler and fixed it without killing the outside sound too much. With this system it looks like the x- pipe will act as a resonator, and also a equilizer at the same time which should keep it nice inside the cockpit of the maro.

I don't have a sound clip personally; I'm pretty sure the Camaro in THIS clip has a blower as well as LT's but I'm not 100% sure. Hopefully someone can post up a sound clip when they get there system done!!

Depending on your ultimate goal you can run the 3" LT's and step down to 2.5" making 575 RWHP which is honestly what we've run in our Road Race cars. If you're not going crazy the 3" is simply too much... Please feel free to call us anytime; we're happy to help with your performance needs!

ARH LT's with their cats and Xpipe. Finishing out the back with an axle back Magna flow street series with tips. I cant wait to hear it. And feel it for that matter. I was going to go with the GMPP axle backs and decided with the amount of money saved here with the forum discount, magna flow trumped GMPP!
Thanks Don! And Jordan too!
Thanks for your order!!! Post up some sound clips when you get it finished and send some pictures for our website if you can! Thanks again for your order and have a great week.

The weight for part # 16580 is roughly 56 pounds; I haven't weighed it outside of the packaging so I'm not 100% sure. Please feel free to call or email us anytime with questions. Have a great weekend!

Question:

I thought the GMPP exhaust was a Borla made product. However on Magnaflow's website it's showing GM performance packages on there with the street series and competition series.

So if we get the "gm performance package" would that be covered by the GM warranty?

The Magnaflow GMPP exhaust bought from us would be covered by Magnaflow's Lifetime Warranty. Changing out your exhaust doesn't void or effect your warranty what so ever. In order for it to be covered by GM it would have to be purchased through GMPP.

Please feel free to call or email us anytime with questions!

I just want a magnaflow muffler that will sound similar to this system below. just a nice rumble no drone or popping--- any ideas which muffler to order? thanks!

Part # 16483

Magnaflow's Stainless Steel 3" Competition Series Cat-Back for the 2010 Camaro SS 6.2L V8 System has an Aggressive Tone. This System DOES NOT Include Mufflers, It has a resonated X-Pipe and Includes Dual 5" Polished Stainless Steel Tips.

Hi nessa131,

I've updated the 3" Cat-Back information in the first post. The information I was initially given was incorrect. The best way to control the popping is with an X-Pipe; the scavaging is great for sound cancellation as well as performance. I see a lot of systems that merge the pipes together and weld them. This doesn't act like a Tru-X Pipe in terms of function although it is much cheaper.

Please feel free to call or email us anytime! We appreciate your interest in JDP Motorsports products and have a great weekend.

Kind regards,

JP
