They're asking too much for a 2012 ZL1 with 15k miles. Should be more like 39-41K.
not sure how many miles you have on your 2013, But I'd venture a guess and say you have less than 15k miles, so you're going to an older car with more mileage and costing $150 a month more? As much as a ZL1 is an awesome car, the 2013 2SS/RS is nothing to be ashamed of. In this case, I'd keep the SS. |

A 2012 with 15K is considered low miles. If the car was well maintained 46K does not seem bad depending on features. A ZL1 coupe can vary in price pretty significantly depending on options. Sure a no feature M6 car was 55K but a fully loaded auto car was over 60K new.
Same goes for your car. I would guess a trade value of mid to high 20s. I don't know how the 2014 refresh has effected trade in on 2013 and earlier cars. BTW Focus on interest rate and loan amount. Don't let them sell you a payment.

According to Kelley Blue Book, $46,000 is just about correct for a 2012 with 15,000 miles on it, depending on options of course.

It's in excellent condition. I drove it today and boy I like it. But they didn't want to get right with the payments. They wanted me to keep it over night. I said no because if I would have done that I probably would have fell in love with the car and made a bad purchase.

if you had that zl1 and you were trading it into the dealer, they would give you 39K for it. Keep that in mind before you make a deal.

I'd stick with the SS and save that $150 a month and build the SS.
